TAKE a look inside Bridgwater's new Food Warehouse which opened today at Bridgwater Retail Park.
The 10,749 square foot supermarket has created 30 new jobs, offering shoppers a similar experience to shopping wholesale without the need for membership.
Every customer who visited the store on the opening day was entered into a free prize draw to be in with a chance of winning a selection of prizes, including home appliances and gift vouchers.
Speaking about the new Bridgwater store, managing director Richard Walker, commented: “We’re delighted to have opened our new store in Bridgwater. The Food Warehouse is an innovative store format, responding to the changing needs of shoppers by offering amazing bulk-buy deals and homeware offers alongside a fantastic range of frozen, fresh and chilled foods.”
The Bridgwater manager, Alexander Troman, said: “Our opening day has been great fun for the whole family and our team are so excited to welcome the people of Bridgwater to our brand new store.”
The Bridgwater store opening hours are Monday to Saturday: 8am to 8pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm.
The store sells fresh, frozen and 'ambient' deals across 3,000 product lines. There have been more than 80 stores opened since the Food Warehouse was launched four years ago.
