BRIDGWATER'S new Food Warehouse store opened today, just in time for shoppers to pick up bulk goods ready for the Christmas festivities.
The new store based at the Leggar Retail Park is owned by supermarket giant Iceland and will employ up to 30 people.
The Food Warehouse differs to a typical Iceland store as they offer ‘a wider range of products than the traditional Iceland store including more premium food'.
They are created in a bid to attract ‘customers who do not currently shop with Iceland and providing opportunities for largely fortnightly and monthly shops.’
The Food Warehouse was launched four years ago by parent company Iceland Foods, and now has more than 75 stores in Britain.
