THIS month in 1988 saw the completion of a major project to restore Westonzoyland's oldest industrial chimney.
The Engine trust held a 'topping out' ceremony at the 1830 stack, part of the pumping station used to drain the Levels until the 1950s.
Author Anthony Burton laid the final brick.
