THE Park and Ride facility at Dunball Roundabout was closed today after a 'dispute between neighbours' broke out.

Two tractors were reportedly blocking the entrance and exit of the EDF Park and Ride off of the M5.

Avon and Somerset Police officers were called to the scene at around 8.39am this morning (November 5).

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called at around 8.30am today to the A38, Dunball, Bridgwater to reports that a tractor was blocking the exit to the Costain Park & Ride.

"On attendance we discovered that this is due to a dispute between neighbours.

"We were at the scene to ensure that public safety and peace is maintained while the issue is resolved."

A spokesman for EDF said they were working to find a solution to the issue, before resolving the problem at around 3pm.

The spokesman added: "The Junction 23 Park and Ride facility is now fully open and operating normally.

"A swift resolution to the issue was found following discussions with all parties on drainage arrangements around the site.”
