MORE than 200 runners took part in the 37th Burnham-on-Sea half marathon.
In total 229 runners crossed the finish line at the Burnham Association of Sports Clubs in Old Stoddens Road.
This year’s race also incorporated the Somerset County Road Race Championship.
The race kicked off at 11am.
Wayne Loveridge, from Chard Road Runners, was the first to cross the line at one hour, 15 minutes and 26 seconds. The first female runners was Katie Synge, from Moretonhampstead, who came in eighth place overall at a time of 1 hour, 20 minutes and 17 seconds.
