CHILDREN at Kingsmoor Primary School were showing off their growing power in 2008.
The school’s parent teacher association, Kingsmoor Friends, organises an annual sunflower competition, supplying seeds to pupils, who are then responsible for nurturing their flower.
At a special assembly, all the children who brought in their sunflowers were given a prize and prizes were given for the largest sunflower in diameter, the smallest in diameter and more.
