FIREFIGHTERS were called to a stove fire in a property in Broomfield in the early hours of this morning (Monday).
Three engines from Taunton were sent to the fire in the kitchen of the premises in Cushuish Lane at 4.16am.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "Upon arrival crews confirmed the fire was contained to the stove.
"Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one safety jet, two CO2 extinguishers, one thermal image camera and positive pressure ventilation."
The cause was accidental.
