MINEHEAD and West Somerset Arts Society is aiming to bring top-quality classical music in live performance to our area.
The society is a small charity run by a handful of people – all volunteers – who love good music.
The society is preparing for its 55th concert season – four concerts between October 2018 and March 2019 – and continuing the policy of concerts with top-class artists.
The programme features internationally established performers.
The season starts in October with the Eblana String Trio, who will play less familiar works of popular composers. Who knows what everyone will hear when Red Priest bound onto the Regal Theatre stage next February. In between those concerts it is welcome back to the Carducci Quartet. And the concert season will close with the Petrov Piano Trio.

n Friday, November 23, Regal Theatre, Minehead, 7.30pm. Tickets £10. Carducci String Quartet playing Beethoven, Mendelssohn and Dvořák
