HAYGROVE School was welcoming a new headteacher this time 10 years ago.
Karen Canham took over from Robert Ward in 2008 and outlined her plans to build on the school’s tradition of academic success.
She took over at the start of term on September 4 and said: “I am delighted to be joining Haygrove School and very proud to be taking over from Bob Ward who has led the school in achieving outstanding success.
“This is the start of a new and exciting chapter in the history of Haygrove School and I am so far extremely impressed by the high standards of conduct, courtesy and uniform demonstrated by the students.”
