MORE than 150 people packed into St Peter's Church in North Newton to enjoy a day of fun and entertainment.
Dozens of amateur gardeners showed of their flower displays and vegetables at the church on Saturday (July 28).
Organiser Ann Guerin said the number of entries in the flower and vegetable classes was smaller compared to last year due to challenging growing conditions brought on by the heatwave..
"It was a really good event, we had lots of positive feedback from all of the stallholders and visitors," Anne said.
"Unlike last year, this year we expanded the show and put some of the stalls on the church field which was well received.
"We had more stallholders than last year which was good because we didn't have as many exhibitors this year .
"The warm weather hindered the veegetable crop but we still had more than we thought."
