A GENERAL sale held at Sedgemoor Auction Centre will start earlier in future - to cope with the growing number of lots on offer.

From this Thursday, April 12, the sale - which attracted more than 700 lots last month - will begin at 10am rather than 10.30am to accommodate all the entries.

"All the lots, which are sold without reserve, can be viewed from 8.30am on the sale morning," said a spokesman for auctioneer Greenslade Taylor Hunt.

"If you have items to consign they can be dropped off between 9am and 4pm on Wednesday, April 11.

"Another large entry of antiques, later furniture and effects is anticipated."

Sedgemoor Auction Centre, between North Petherton and Bridgwater, is just off Junction 24 of the M5, ensuring easy access for bargain hunters from across the area.

Further general sales will take place on Thursday, May 17, Thursday, June 21, and Thursday, July 19.

The July sale will include a selection of auto jumble.
