RESIDENTS across Somerset may struggle to get their hands on bread and milk as supermarket shelves have been emptied following weather warnings for snow and ice across Somerset.
The Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for snow and a yellow weather warning for ice which will start on Sunday - from 12am until 11.55pm.

Residents across the county have posted images on social media which show empty supermarket shelves across the county.
Bridgwater resident, Suzanne Attwell went to ASDA in Bridgwater to pick up some milk and bread but left empty handed.
She said: "I think its stupid that people go out and buy far too much and when people really need it they can't get any.
"I am a night worker and I rely on having bread and milk to make my packed lunch for work and now I'm going to have to find something else because the milk I use is not there."
