FIREFIGHTERS rushed to Nether Stowey Primary School after reports of a fire.
Two fire engines from Bridgwater were called to the school on Mill Close at 11.34am today (March 17) after reports of smoke coming from a building on the school grounds.
When firefighters arrived at the scene they confirmed a small fire had started in a smal brick built building on the ground floor.
Luckily the fire didn't affect any other part of the school.
Crews extinguished a small fire to wood surrounding pottery kiln using a hosereel jet and used a thermal image camera to check for hotspots.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
