FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire in a shop in Bridgwater late last night (Sunday).
Two engines from Bridgwater and one from Taunton answered the call out to Angel Place shopping centre at around 11.30pm.
Reports said there was a fire at the rear of a chiller cabinet.
A Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "The fire involved a fridge which was 20 per cent damaged by fire.
"Fire crews used four breathing apparatus, one CO2 extinguisher and one hose reel to deal with the incident.
"A small amount of smoke in the shop was allowed to ventilate naturally."
