A WEDMORE woman has appeared in court accused conning a man out of £1,000 in a case of computer fraud.
Julia Borland, 46, of The Borough Mall in Wedmore, appeared at Taunton Crown Court on Monday and entered not guilty pleas to the three charges against here.
The counts against her were that between April 1, 2016 and April 22, 2016, she secured unauthorised access to a man’s PayPal account, between November 1, 2015 and April 22, 2016, she gained unauthorised access to the same man’s business accounts and records, and that on April 21 last year she used false representation to PayPal to pay herself £1,000 from the man’s account.
Following the not guilty pleas, a trial date was set for July 13.
Borland has been released on unconditional bail.
