A BRIDGWATER man has been out helping to raise vital funds for a Down Syndrome charity.
Kenneth Trunks has collected £393.60 in three street collection tins and said he was delighted with the donations from people.
Ups and Downs Southwest is a Down Syndrome support organisation that helps with giving information, advice and support to parents, carers, families, friends and professionals, aiming to ensure that children and young people with Down Syndrome are able to reach their full potential.
Mr Trunks said: “I’ve collected the money for Ups and Downs Southwest and I’m very pleased with how much we have raised.
“I’ll continue to fundraise and hope that I can collect just as much again."
"The donations are going to a very worthy cause.”
