NORTH Petherton Church members are holding praying for sunshine on Saturday for their annual fete.
The fun starts at 2pm with entertainment by the West Newton Jazz Band.
If the weather is dry the tower will be open as well as a teddy bear abseil and town mayor Cllr Alan Bradford will be in the stocks... Traditional stalls, tasty snacks and treats and country dancing displays courtesy of North Petherton primary school pupils will all add to the party atmosphere.
The fun goes on until 4pm, and if the weather is wet, the fete will go ahead in the community centre.
