BUSINESSES across Somerset and Devon are being given fire safety advice to ensure premises are complying with the law.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service is working with other agencies to coordinate a new approach to helping businesses meet the necessary requirements.
The Fire Service is fully committed to ensuring that people who work in and visit businesses are safe from fire and that companies will receive consistent advice and information.
To get the scheme moving forward and to allow the Fire Service and partners to provide the correct advice and info – they have asked business owners to take part in an online survey.
The survey at torbay.gov.uk/surveys/devonandsomersetbusinesssurvey.

A spokesman said: “We will use the feedback to develop Better Business for All – a more focused way of working together that aims to support businesses by making regulations easier to access and understand.”
Better Business for All is part of a national Government initiative.
The survey closes on March 29.
