CHILTON Trinity School is inspiring a future generation of Jamie Olivers.
The students are busy mastering a number of different meals and learning a range of cooking techniques including baking and the fast-growing art of food science and preparation.
The school wants to inspire cooks of the future in an age where a host of TV chefs and programmes such as Come Dine With Me, Masterchef and The Great British Bake Off have popularised the profession, making it cool to cook.
School staff are also eager to ensure that children leave school with good culinary skills and food knowledge.
Head of Design Technology, Dan Knaresborough, said: “The students are enjoying cooking such a variety of popular dishes and also learning about the science behind food creation.”
