GLORIOUS sunny weather went hand in hand with this year’s Enmore Fete as families headed out for a day of fun.
Children of all ages were kept occupied in the village primary school grounds with face painting and a bouncy castle as well as appearances from 93-year-old artist Jack Fielding and a performance by the Chameleon Batonettes.
The tea ladies were also on hand with cake and refreshments to keep visitors cool in the sun.
Doug Cole, of St Michael’s Church, said: “All in all it was a very enjoyable day.
“It was a shame the Punch & Judy was cancelled due to illness but the day was very good and the weather was nice.
“We are not sure yet how much we’ve raised for the church but we will be tallying it up soon.”
