VAGABONDS Carnival Club has donated half of their Christmas cart collections to St Margaret Hospice.
The club celebrated their 66th annual dinner at The Admirals Landing by presenting a cheque for over £1,000 to the hospice.
Andrew Bruston, from Vagabonds carnival club, presented the cheque for £1,1137 and 81p to Marie Sampson and Barbara Fletcher from St Margaret’s Hospice.
Malcolm Lewis, from Vagabonds Carnival Club, said: “The club wish to do this collection because the hospice had cared for one of the Vagabonds life members Ted Putt and Andrew Brunton.
“The club felt it wanted to show their appreciation to St Margaret Hospice for all the care they had shown.”
