PEOPLE can take a behind-the-scenes look at the police headquarters to celebrate the force’s 40th anniversary.
Phillip Schofield will be special guest at the opening on Sunday, June 15, when visitors can take part in a variety of events at the Portishead base.
The TV personality will judge a ‘Great British Police Bake Off’ and an under-12s fancy dress competition while guests can enjoy displays by the mounted team, a police dog demonstration, live music and a hot air balloon ride over the HQ.
People can also travel back in time to a re-created 1974 police station and inspect some vintage police vehicles.
The free event runs from 10am to 4pm and tickets can be booked on 01275-816660
