HAYGROVE School U13 Rugby team won the Somerset County Cup.
The squad of 23 Year Eight boys showed great team spirit throughout their journey to claiming the prestigious prize.
After winning the Sedgemoor League, the boys went on to beat the Tone champions from Castle School in a thrilling semi-final that ended 21-12.
Their next challenge was the final match against Hugh Sexey School at the North Petherton Rugby Club ground.
The Haygrove team were missing their Captain, Will Anning, but they didn't let him down; they defeated their opponents 31-5, a win that was well-deserved by the entire squad who all worked hard to make sure Haygrove took home the Cup.
