A CREATIVE Burnham man scooped a top award for his gritty dual role in a musical this year.
Edward Creswick was given the Aardman Animations Award for best performance in a musical for his outstanding portrayal of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, in the Weston Operatic Society show.
Around 500 thespians met for the 48th annual Rose Bowl theatre awards in Weston, where two-time winner Edward was rewarded for his work.
Edward first one the award in 1990 for his role as Curly in Oklahoma for Taunton Operatic and more recently in 2008 when he stepped in to play Billy in Carousel for Bridgwater Amateur Operatic Society.
Hosted at the Winter Gardens, the sell-out event saw a wealth of theatrical talent recognise the best shows staged in the last 12 months.
