GET down to Ritz Acoustic Club in Burnham as it plays host to The John Richards Band, one of the finest acts of the folk circuit on Thursday.
The work of world-renowned songwriter John Richards has been covered by the likes of Fairport Convention, Show Of Hands and Bill Caddick.
His five-piece group are famed for their amazing harmonies and brilliant musical interplay and can be lusty, melancholy, uplifting and genuinely exciting.
They show their musical skills by using an enormous variety of instruments including guitar, bouzouki, mandolin, piano, accordion, whistles and double bass.
