THIS year’s Wedmore Arts Festival has brought together a wide range of local artists, from the very young to the more mature.
Their work reflects the thriving creative Somerset community of artists in and around Wedmore. Individuals and groups are exhibiting a diversity of work. Oils, mixed-media, acrylics, watercolours, pastels and pencil hang alongside imaginative paper work, photos, cards, stone carving and young artists’ themed paintings.
Among the exhibits are remarkable textile creations – pictures, wall-hangings and free-standing art.
Browsing through this varied art in John and Tessa Podpadec’s appealing Barn Gallery is a delightful experience.
You can see the artwork from May 11 until May 18 at Leburne House in Wedmore.
