Ladies of London star Marissa Hermer has spoken about her new miracle baby daughter, Sadie.
The reality TV star, 34, and her husband, Matt, welcomed their latest addition in April.
But it wasn’t all plain-sailing as Marissa developed a potentially life-threatening condition for her and her unborn baby called placenta accreta while pregnant.
She had to have a Caesarean at 34 weeks followed by a hysterectomy.
She told Hello!: “This is the moment I was afraid I might never experience.
“Whenever I look at her she reminds me of the miracle of childbirth and all the things that need to go right along the way. She really is our miracle baby and I feel very lucky that we are both here safe and well, after going through what felt like a war.”
She and Matt have two sons, Max who is four and Jake, who is two-years-old.
She credited her husband with getting her through it all saying: “Of course there were tears. I would stand in the shower every morning and have a big cry, asking myself, ‘How am I going to get through this?’”
“Ultimately I did that with Matt by my side – he was my rock. And with two boys to look after, I couldn’t just curl up in a ball. I had to keep moving and that’s what probably saved me on an emotional level.”
