Madonna’s fall off the stage at the Brit Awards may have shocked viewers, but that didn’t stop people making fun of the incident.
The Queen of Pop tumbled down the stairs during her performance of Living For Love, which closed the ceremony, blaming it on her tightly tied cape.
The 56-year-old singer later reassured fans that she is fine.
The mishap, which has seen the Fallen Madonna hashtag trending, has inspired memes, jokes and even a Twitter account for the cape. Called Madonna’s Cape, the account already has over 4,770 followers.
Twitter users reacted within seconds of Madonna’s slip-up, posting their own jokes.
Even The Beano poked fun at Madonna.
And This Morning hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford recreated the slip, with Eamonn wearing a cape inspired by Madonna’s Armani version. See the clip here.
Celebs also showed their support for the singer.
