DIBLEY Parish Council is gearing up to get back in full swing.

It will is being @2K Theatre who will be performing Vicar of Dibley at Christmas from Wednesday, November 14-Saturday, November 17.

In May 2017 @2K Theatre presented a sell out production of the Vicar of Dibley to audiences across Somerset.

It was so well received, that many venues asked for Geraldine and the villagers to return to the stage.

After consultations on high ,several sermons and rehearsals after evensong the well loved Dibley parishioners and their charismatic Vicar are ready to return this November with a seasonal twist.

So it’s time to put the sprouts on, dig out your Christmas jumpers and dust of the decorations and prepare to join in the antics.

Will David Horton get to play God?

Will Geraldine be alone for Christmas? Will Alice & Hugo finally tie the knot?

So come all ye faithful, enjoy a ding dong merrily on high , it won’t be a bleak mid winter with all the fun and laughter of Dibley festivities.

The cast is: Owen Newitt (Andy Pearce) Geraldine Grainger (Tamara Godwin), Hugo Horton (Jason Western) David Horton (Richard Hockey) , Frank Pickle (Tim Ashmore) Letitia Cropley (Jane Dyer) and Jim Trott (Nigel Ford).

This version of the Vicar of Dibley has been adapted for the stage by the director Mark Scribbins.

The show opens at Crowcombe Village Hall on November 8.

This is followed by Bishopswood November 9 (Otterford Parish Hall), Othery Village Hall November10 and Tacchi Morris Arts Centre Taunton November14 -17.
