GREENSLADE Taylor Hunt report another fierce trade for two excellent machinery dispersals hosted by Mark Pope of Staple Farm, Taunton. The sale of national prominence comprised a combined dispersal of equipment on behalf of Mr M Pope of Staple Farm Enterprises and Mr I Wakley, together including an entry of seven modern tractors, Massey Ferguson combine, a comprehensive range of equipment and considerable farm machinery.

Main vendor, Staple Farm Enterprises, saw their frontline 2013 Massey Fergusson 7620 Dyna-V reach £49,200, while the company’s 2012 MF 7360 paralevel combine complete

with 20’ powerflow header achieved £45,000. The farm machinery and cultivation gear on offer included a 2015 Bomford Hawk Evo hedge-trimmer which sold to £11,800, a smart pair of 2011 NC 1855-14 Grain trailers reached a staggering £11,800 and £10,400, while the 2013 Sumo Trio and 2008 Overum 5 furrow plough made it to £8,400 and £7,000, respectively.

Top call for Mr Wakley’s equipment was for the 2016 Pottinger Jumbo 6610 Forage Wagon which made it to £51,000. A range of tractors from the same vendor included a 2011 Massey Fergusson 6499 to £39,000, a 2010 Massey Fergusson 5480 to £31,500 and a 2015 John Deere 5100M to £26,000. A 2015 Ovlac 5 furrow reversible plough made £9,200 and Hispec 2500 tanker reached £7,000.

Outside entries included a 2012 plated Deutz Fahr M625 which reached £34,600, as well as a brace of West 10T grain trailers made it to £4,250 each.
