LEADING South West auctioneers Greenslade Taylor Hunt hold a broader range of auctions than any other firm in the area.

This ensures the best prices for vendors and offers the greatest choice to buyers as lots can be directed to the most appropriate sales.

Each quarter The Octagon Salerooms in East Reach, Taunton, hosts a specialist collectors sale, which draws interest from around the world thanks to its internet presence and the useful option to bid on line, while each month around 100 collectable lots go under the hammer at the monthly antiques auction.

In addition the firm runs regular online only timed sales which are ideal for collectors looking for niche items to finish off collections and are particularly affordable.

The firm is currently running an online only railwayana and model trains auction, which features more than 100 lots. This concludes at 8pm on Monday, February 18.

February marks a busy time for the auctioneers with the regular monthly antiques sale on Thursday, February 7, from 10am.

This Saturday (Feburary 2) it will be on view at The Octagon Salerooms, East Reach, Taunton, where a comprehensive collection of jewellery, silver, paintings and furniture will be featured.

There will be further opportunities to view the sale on Tuesday and Wednesday between 9am and 5pm as well as from 8.30am on the morning of the sale.

This event is in addition to the regular Monday valuation mornings which are held at the saleroom from 9am-12.30pm when a range of specialists are on hand to offer verbal valuations on the complete range of antiques and collectables.
