I WAS brought up in Exeter and I moved to Somerset in 2010.

I have been living in Woolavington since 2017. I work as a solicitor in Wedmore and Clevedon, specialising in wills, probate and powers of attorney.

I feel my professional background will add to the work of the council, especially where it’s role is semi-judicial in nature, like planning and licensing.

Council decisions need to be made transparently and fairly with consultation with the local communities.

Although new to the community, I am interested in the sustainable expansion of Woolavington and Puriton and the building projects in the area.

As the only Woolavington resident in this election I am particularly keen to ensure that the village is represented at Sedgemoor District Council.

The re-development of the former ROF site needs to be sustainable and fit the needs of the local community as well as the wider district.

I am keen to make all the villages in the ward sustainable, healthy and vibrant places to live.

In my spare time I am a keen rambler and enjoy playing board games.
