I moved to the Kings Down area of Bridgwater, with my family in 2012, and soon after found myself in the position of chairing a local community group, it was not long after that I found myself serving on the parish council, and after a while was elected to the position of chairman. A position I filled for two years in which time I managed to get dog bins installed on Kings Down, and park benches in local parks as well as the parish council hosting Christmas parties and a community event to mark the Queens 90th birthday

I love to spend time walking with our dog, and I am also a member of the Bridgwater voices community choir

My main reason for involvement in local politics is that I believe our money is being mismanaged by the current administration meaning that cut backs have had to be made in vital services.

It is my strong belief that local people should be consulted on how their money is spent, and it should be spent on providing services

If elected I will make it my priority to campaign for there to be better provision for children’s services including mental health for young people
