Taunton and Pickeridge Golf Club are planning a number of events over the weekend of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Somerset’s George Thomas has recovered well from the elbow injury that prevented him playing earlier in the season, and on Sunday at Taunton Vale he played for The Somerset Pathway Under 18s in their T20 games against Northamptonshire and Warwickshire.

Taunton St Andrews Second XI are through to the next round of the Baker Cup after beating North Newton by 27 runs at the Wyvern Club on Monday evening.
