SOMERSET COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS LOCATIONS. BRIDGWATER) (TEMPORARY 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2019
TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, Somerset County Council propose to make an Order to introduce a temporary 20 mph speed limit along the on the lengths of road specified in the Schedule to this order. This Order shall come into operation on 22nc January 2019 and will remain in force for eighteen months.
This Order is required to facilitate highway works and is necessary for the safety of the workforce whilst carrying out their duties. The restriction shall apply when indicated by traffic signs. STATEMENT OF REASONS FOR PROPOSING TO MAKE THE ORDER
For avoiding danger to persons, or other traffic using the road, or any other road, or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising
