Temporary Closure of Lavender Grove
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Lavender Grove - from the Junction with Gipsy Lane, north westwards for a distance of 107 metres. This Order will enable Jurassic Fibre to carry out fibre cabling works.
The Order becomes effective on 6th January 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 12th January 2022 and last until 18th January 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 7 days. There is no alternative route for this closure. The works promoter will contact residents and businesses directly to discuss access arrangements.
