Temporary Closure of Ardwyn
Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Ardwyn - from the junction of Ardwyn northwards for a total distance of 100 metres. This Order will enable Gigaclear to carry out trenching and Infastructure works.
The Order becomes effective on 21 st October 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 25th October 2021 and last until 29th October 2021 between the hours of (00:00 - 23:59) for a total of 5 days. There is no alternative route for this closure. The works promoter will contact residents and business directly to discuss access arrangements.
