Temporary Closure of Footpath between Somerset Avenue and Cometrowe Lane
Somerset County Council In exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all pedestrian traffic from proceeding along the Footpath between Somerset Avenue and Cometrowe Lane for a distance of 34 metres.
This Order will enable Western Power Distribution to upgrade existing high voltage cable to meet current demands of Musgrove hospital.
The Order becomes effective on 29 April 2021 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 4th May 2021 until 7th May 2021 between the hours of (00:00 - 23:59) for a total of 4 days.
