Somerset County Council District of Somerset West & Taunton Parish of Wellington Temporary Closure of Layby off Exeter Road TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the County Council of Somerset have made an Order PROHIBITING ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Layby off Exeter Road from the junction with Exeter Road, north­eastwards for a distance of 30 metres. This order will enable A-Plant Lux Traffic Control to BT Openreach to carry out cabling works on overhead structure

The Order becomes effective on 16 April 2020 and

will remain in force for eighteen months. The works

are expected to start on 19 April 2020 and last for

4 Sundays Only (18:00-06:00).
