NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14

The Sedgemoor District Council (Footpath BW13/3 & BW13/4 (in part)

in the Parish of East Huntspill)

Public Path Diversion Order 2020 The above order was made on the 12th February 2020 under section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act, 1990. The effect of the order will be to divert part of footpath ref. BW 13/3 in the parish of East Huntspill from point D (Nat Grid Map Ref. 332892 145576) at Long East Barn, New Road, East Huntspill, TA9 3PZ in a generally north easterly direction to point E (Nat Grid Map Ref. 332973 145644), a distance of approximately 106 metres. Then from point E on footpath ref. BW 13/4 in a generally southerly direction to point B (Nat Grid Map Ref. 332980 145519), a distance of approximately 123 metres and create an alternative footpath instead to a line running from point A (Nat Grid Map Ref. 332971 145648) at the existing pedestrian gated Somerset County Council footbridge on footpath ref. AX 13/4 at Long East Barn, New Road, East Huntspill, TA9 3PZ, in a generally southerly direction to point C (Nat Grid Map Ref. 332975 145566), a distance of approximately 78 metres. Then from point C on footpath ref. AX 13/4 in a generally southerly direction to point B (Nat Grid Map Ref. 332980 145519), a distance of approximately 48 metres. And also from point D (Nat Grid Map Ref. 332892145576) on footpath ref. BW 13/3 in a generally easterly direction to point C (Nat Grid Map Ref. 332975 145566) on footpath ref BW 13/4, a distance of approximately 92 metres. The width of the path will be 2m. A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, from 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies may also be seen by contacting the Clerk, East Huntspill Parish Council. Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to, Assistant Director, Finance & Property, Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR not later than the Friday 20th March. Please state the grounds on which it is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Sedgemoor District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
