SEDGEMOOR DISTRICT COUNCIL NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 The Sedgemoor District Council (Footpath BW38/33 and BW38/32 (in part) in the Parish of Bridgwater) Public Path Diversion Order 2020
The above order was made on the 21st January 2020 under section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act, 1990. The effect of the order will be to divert part of footpath ref BW38/33 in the parish of Bridgwater from point A (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331532 137132) in a generally north westerly direction to point B (Nat Grid Map Ref 331520 137154), a distance of approximately 25 metres and then from point B in a generally westerly direction to point C (Nat Grid Map Ref 331513 137154) a distance of approximately 7 metres then from point C in a generally northerly direction to point D on footpath ref BW38/32 (Nat Grid Map Ref 331513 137169) a distance of approximately 14 metres. Then from point D on footpath ref BW38/32 in a generally easterly direction to point E (Nat Grid Map Ref 331534 137167) a distance of approximately 21 metres and create an alternative footpath instead to a line running from point A (Nat Grid Map Ref 331532 137132) on footpath ref BW38/33 in the parish of Bridgwater in a generally northerly direction to point E (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331534 137167) on footpath ref BW38/32 to link with the said footpath ref BW38/32 a distance of approximately 34 metres. The width of the path will be a minimum of 2m.
The above order was made on the 21st January 2020 under section 257 of the Town & Country Planning Act, 1990. The effect of the order will be to divert part of footpath ref BW38/33 in the parish of Bridgwater from point A (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331532 137132) in a generally north westerly direction to point B (Nat Grid Map Ref 331520 137154), a distance of approximately 25 metres and then from point B in a generally westerly direction to point C (Nat Grid Map Ref 331513 137154) a distance of approximately 7 metres then from point C in a generally northerly direction to point D on footpath ref BW38/32 (Nat Grid Map Ref 331513 137169) a distance of approximately 14 metres. Then from point D on footpath ref BW38/32 in a generally easterly direction to point E (Nat Grid Map Ref 331534 137167) a distance of approximately 21 metres and create an alternative footpath instead to a line running from point A (Nat Grid Map Ref 331532 137132) on footpath ref BW38/33 in the parish of Bridgwater in a generally northerly direction to point E (Nat Grid Map Ref. 331534 137167) on footpath ref BW38/32 to link with the said footpath ref BW38/32 a distance of approximately 34 metres. The width of the path will be a minimum of 2m.
A copy of the order and the order map may be seen free of charge at Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, from 8.45 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies may also be seen by contacting the clerk of Bridgwater Town Council. Any representation about or objection to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to, Assistant Director, Finance & Property, Sedgemoor District Council, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR not later than the 28th February 2020. Please state the grounds on which it is made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Sedgemoor District Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
