Notice of a public path diversion order under section 257 and paragraph 1 of Schedule 14 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (TCPA 1990) STROUD DISTRICT COUNCIL EASTINGTON FOOTPATH 36 SECTION 257 DIVERSION ORDER 2019 (Order)
1. On the 1 st October 2019 Stroud District Council confirmed the Order.
2. The effect of the Order will be to divert the public footpath situated between points A (OS Grid Reference ST 378538, 206549) and F (OS Grid Reference ST 378504,206448) which measures approximately 113 metres long and unknown width shall be diverted between points A (OS Grid Reference ST 378538,206549), B (OS Grid Reference ST 378512, 206543), C (OS Grid Reference ST 378527, 206463), D (OS Grid Reference ST 378521,206460), E (OS Grid Reference 378522,206453) and F (OS Grid Reference ST 378504, 206448) which measures approximately 145 metres in length and a minimum of 2 metres in width as shown on the Order plan.
3. A copy of the Order and plan (reference Eastington Footpath 36 Section 257 Diversion Order 2019) may be inspected free of charge at the Council Offices at Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Ebley Wharf, Stroud, GL5 4UB between the hours
of 8.45am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am to 4.30pm Fridays (excluding bank holidays and public holidays). Copies of the order and plan may be obtained there at the price of £10.
4. This Order was confirmed on the 1 st October 2019 but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the TCPA 1990, or on the ground that any requirement of the TCPA 1990 has not been compiled with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, they may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under Section 287 of the TCPA 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the TCPA 1990.
