MEADOWS Bill of Cannington, passed away peacefully on 25th September aged 76 years. Beloved husband of Trish, much loved dad of Gary and Emma, father in law to Ruth and Andy, Grandad to Sam, Luke, Alfie and Max and great granddad to Lottie. A private funeral service will take place at Cannington Parish Church on Thursday 8th October at 12 noon. He was a avid cricket fan and always had the radio on to listen to test match updates when possible.
Bill was a dedicated employee well respected for his exceptional commitment to ensure that the bandscreens were maintained to a high standard and that they were always operational.
I shall always remember looking down on him on a cold wet winters day, working on the bandscreen when he got up from his knees cigar glowing, clouds of smoke, woolly hat and rain drops dripping from his beard, looking like black beards ghost.
Bill will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
