SMITH Penelope (Penny) of North Newton sadly passed away on 3rd April 2020, aged 73 years. She left us peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family as she would have wanted. Not only was she a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, but she left an indelible, positive mark on all those she met. Penny is missed by all who knew and loved her. Due to the current regulations, a private funeral service for Penny will take place at Taunton Deane Crematorium (a webcast will be available) but a celebration of her life will be held later in the year where memories and happy times can be shared together. Donations in Penny's memory in aid of either "Macmillan Cancer" or "Macmillan Nurses" may still be given and details of the memorial webcast will be available - both through Wallace Stuart Lady Funeral Directors TA6 6PZ
