MANY regular readers of the Mercury Memories will be well aware of the fantastic selection of classic photographs bought in to us, and this offering is no different.

North Petherton man Merv Selway stopped off at the Mercury offices with this line up of troops, which may well appear familiar to some of our readers.

The vintage shot shows the North Petherton army cadets at their band contest held at Norton Manor Camp in 1952.
