A REGIMENTAL feel graces the Mercury Memories this week after a Bridgwater man popped into the office with these old snaps he dug out at home.
Holford Road man John Hector found these family photos he had lying around at home for many years and wanted to share them with Mercury readers.
John said: "My father, W. Hector, is in both of these photographs, but I don't know anyone else apart from one man.
"One of the soldiers, Captain C.E Dunn, I actually went to school with - which is a strange coincidence. I wonder if anyone else recognises any of the faces here."
If you anyone in John's photographs looks familiar to you get in touch and share your memories, or if you have old snaps of your own send them into us for possible publication.
If you're dreaming of a white Christmas this year you might end up disappointed, but many readers may recall this wintery scene in the town centre - taken back in 1994.
