Lynda Price, 57, is the new Chairman of Homes in Sedgemoor. She is married with two adult sons who live and work abroad and her husband works in Bridgwater as a senior manager with a major UK software company.
She has management qualifications and worked in the clothing industry until the birth of her first child - she then set up her own business working from home producing golf and football flags.
For many years, Lynda has been involved with the public and voluntary sectors, previously as member of a probation board, health authority member and chair of a primary care trust in the NHS.
Now, she is chair of a housing association, a magistrate and a member of the Devon and Cornwall Police Authority. Her new role at Homes in Sedgemoor is to lead the board of directors to ensure they provide the best possible service to the residents of Homes in Sedgemoor.
She will also be working closely with Homes in Sedgemoor's new chief executive Gary Orr to support his improvement plans.
