This week: whose Beehive recording studio in Middlezoy is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Olly was born in Bridgwater in 1957 to parents Arthur and Myra. He has a brother, Phil, and a sister, Sue.

Olly attended St Margaret's School and Eastover School before leaving to become a butcher. During his time as a butcher, Olly played with various bands before giving up to play full-time.

He opened the Beehive studio in 1988 and has worked with a variety of bands during its life.

He is married to Julie and has a son, Jeremy, and two daughters, Gemma and Francesca and also three grandchildren - Josh, Callum and Rhiannon.

What is the best and worst thing about the place you live in?

"The best thing about the place I live in is that it's handy for my work and the Bridgwater Mercury, of course!"

What is the best and worst thing about your job?

"I love what I do. I have great flexibility and I really can't see a downside to it at all."

What was your ambition as a child?

"My ambition was always to work in music. I have realized my dream and I'm very happy."

What has been your greatest achievement?

"My greatest achievement is definitely opening the Beehive studio. It wasn't planned but I'm very pleased I did it."

What characteristic do you dislike most in others and in yourself?

"In myself, I would say I'm terrible at time keeping. I also dislike this in others. It may be a contradiction but it's annoying."

What is your biggest fear?

"I would say my biggest fear is losing the people dearest around me."

When and where were you happiest?

"I've been at my happiest since I married my wife Julie in 1998."

What three items would you take to a desert island?

"I would take my iPod, a hairdryer and clean underwear!"

Who are your dream dinner party guests (maximum five)?

"Michael McDonald, Michelle Pfeiffer, Lenny Henry, Duffy and John Lennon."

How would you like to be remembered?

"Just as myself. I just hope people liked me!"
