Yeovil Town boss plays down Gavin Williams speculation

YEOVIL Town boss Terry Skiverton has played down suggestions that former Glovers’ hero Gavin Williams was on his shopping list of potential targets.

There has been speculation that Skiverton has hopes of bringing back the Welsh midfielder to Huish Park for another loan spell – following his successful period with the Glovers at the end of last season from Bristol City.

Skiverton told the BBC that he had been in touch with City about William earlier in the season.

"We enquired about Gav earlier in the season but there was no more dialogue towards that,” he said. “So we are looking in other areas at the moment."
