YEOVIL Town boss Terry Skiverton was not overly disappointed about last night’s 1-0 defeat at Carlisle United in the Coca-Cola League One.
A second-half goal from Adam Clayton was enough to give the Cumbrians the victory – a result which saw them leapfrog above Yeovil and push the Glovers down one place to 12th spot in the table.
And Skiverton, speaking to the BBC, said: “We said a moment of quality either side would win the game and to be fair to Adam Clayton he's chested it up and absolutely dipped it in the top corner.”
Yeovil had gone into the game on the back of a 4-0 victory over Hartlepool United, but once again the away day woes returned to trouble the Glovers last night with them having won just three matches on their travels this campaign.
Skiverton added: “We've got no grumbles. We've came here quite confident off the back of the last performance and it's still a little bit of an away game headache we keep having.”
The Yeovil boss was pleased with the contribution of new loan signing Scott Davies, while there was more praise for the ever-consistent Shaun MacDonald.
"I thought Scott Davies put a good shift in and people like Shaun MacDonald were absolutely outstanding again,” he said.
